Feel free to laugh but all this talk of childbirth keeps making me cross me legs and shudder

I can't imagine going through any of it but if I want kids......... :o

You are right Bec :) if you have put just one 'novice' would be breeder off then definatley good job done. sadly though we'll never stop the people who see it as a way of making a bit of money :(

I think this site does a good job of making the point to the Fluffy should have puppies brigade! http://www.bluegrace.com/virtualbreeding.html

Hi melodysk, I only have one daughter, through various circumstances, but I think the second time round (if there had been one) I would have asked for a c section. Went into labour, Sunday night, had her Wednesday morning, plus 47 stitches, cause they wouldnt cut me!! If I had had the choice, I would have asked for a section with the first one :):):)

My first got stuck, and they had to cut! You are right, it Caused me to ter woith the second! They were big lumps though. the first a girl was 9lb 14 ounces, and the second 9lb 9 ounces!

With your first being 9lb 14oz- I'm surprised it didn't completely put you off for life- never mind having a second at 9lb 9oz:D You make me feel like a right wimp my first was 6lb 13oz and the second 7lb 2oz- like you I had to be cut with the first and the second I just 'grazed'- don't know why I'm saying 'just' though it was worse than being cut- open wound and all that;) For 7lb 2oz- he must just have heavy bones or something because he was quite a lot smaller than my first:)

Bec - should think you've effectively managed to cut the birth rate in humans by about 50% with this thread - are you on your local family planning committee? :-)

Again it is preaching to the converted, LOL. We should get this leg crossing info to the teenagers to stop them getting pregnant!

Major paranoia, as I have a daughter of 14 1/2, who was quite offended when I raised the subject of birth control! I hope and pray she is not or even contemplating being sexually active, but I am not naive enough to think it can't happen, as it does to other peoples daughters!
