I would suspect you are right about doing better at champ shows from the picture, depends on the judge at open shows. I have judged GSDs a couple of times at open shows and look for the proportions as laid down in the breed standard, so lean towards the international type. Usually the bulk of my entry has been 'English' with one or 2 'international' type ones there. The 'international' ones have always one - so keep at it !

i have never been sure of which type she is.  it doent bother me where she gets placed, she just enjoys a different day out.  she does tend to look like a dog sometimes in the ring as the other bitches tend to be much smaller, but no matter she is still the best girl and is a joy to own!

her pedigree is on our website which is linked from my profile page. we only have the one gsd at the moment but when we move i am definatly getting more. probably from the same breeder as she is such a great dog.
