Another good tip is have a cupboard audit every three months or so and you will see what you bought with the intention of using that is still sitting in there ! :) Then keep it out and make sure you use it ! :D

We have so much that is out of date :rolleyes: We are having a major clear out re our new kitchen so we will try to start as we mean to go on ! :D

PS The one BIG thing we have all failed to mention is........NEVER go shopping on an empty stomach :D

i GOT SOMETHING OUT THE OTHER DAY TO USE. Had it in there for 4-5 months. opened it, luckily before I defrosted the meat, it was Vile!!!!!!!!!!Glad it is not taking up cupboard space now!! It went straight n the bin LOL

And I cant sort out a menu, as what I want to eat one day,Makes me feel sick the next :( Not cause of phobias, just cause i have to really want something to eat it!!!!!!!
Oh and pasta was cooked but water came over sides of glass bowl!!!!!!

Just waiting for our fish pie which has smoked cod, and salmon and must have cost about £7 for the fish then the tatties, milk, herbs etc about another £2. A lovely meal which could feed a family of six without problems. Your could make a batch then make two pots and freeze one for another day :)

Lots of fresh veggies, what more could you want :D Yummmmmm :D

A bargain at this time of year is go to the farm shops and buy the asparagus they sell for soup. All it is is mis shaped stuff and it is just as nice ;)

I love food but love freshly prepared food which is so much nicer and better value for money than ready convenience meals and is much more fun cooking it than shoving it in the microwave ;)
