I think that you have been told these prices because you want to take it out of the country
and i think that they are trying to put you off???I would just say no as none of mine go out of the country.but not every one is that direct...And maybe some of the people you have talked too are not the right ones and are only after the cash...

That is rather what I said on the now locked 'looking for a breeder' thread. Most breeder of any breed are very particular who has their pups and very, very, very concerned if they are going abroad, and will usually only let them go to a breeder that they have known off for a number of years and who's stock they admire.
Sure this guest is totally honourable and may not even want to export the dog, but they will have a steep mountain to climb to convince a caring breeder of that.

You put it much better than I, and I said it on a locked thread, I seem to be good at locking threads :) :D
u can not deny that the ambull is a healthier than the eng bulldog.i am not saying they are all healthy but in general they are healthier and most vets will AGREE TO THE PROBLEMS OF ENG BULLDOGS due to their standard-which is why even the standard is being changed.or is that not the case?

Not sure I can accept such generalisations, would need evidence, to start with what constitutes a Ambull, until you can sort that you can't make statements on what is the healthier breed, as the only way you can judge is one recognised breed against another. Last time I looked the Am's were not even recognised by the AKC.

Also these crosses cannot be any healthier than the stock that went into ceating them in the first place. If Bulldogs have been used then they will be susceptible to the saem health problems of that breed, plus those of the other parnet breeds, even if initially the incidence is low. the mere fact that when starting a new breed there will be few progenitors will ensure that in quite a short time the same deleterious genes will be magnified as in the breeds that went into the mix.
