We had a couple of inches of snow and the county seems to have come to a stand still, schools shut and buses not running.......still kids love it and so do the dogs :-)

It has snowed all night here (Gateshead, Tyne & Wear)  we have about 5 inches of snow if not more.  Even the A1 which is usually a nightmare is relatively quiet.

I came back yesterday from being in Strathpeffer in the scottish highlands all week. It has snowed all week the scenery was breathtaking all the tours went ahead and we had a great time. Scary stuff coming down yesterday coach driver informed us we were over an hour behind time. Average speed 12 miles an hour

We have about 5 inches in Newcastle, I was supposed to be at a show today, but my dogs decided that the snow looked like more fun ( I agreed), I now have two Beardies covered in snow balls on their feet, one of them is supposed to be shown tomorrow, Hmmmm

Kids were outside at 8.30 having a snow ball fight!!!!!!!!!!!!
Luckily I have half the garden fenced off, as I hadnt done the poop patrol for a few days!!!!!!!!!!!
What I would have liked is all the snow that we have had for the past 3-4 days, come down in one go. Stay for a day so we could build a snow man, then melt!!!!!!!!!
Oh well, will still have to wait for next year to build a snowman!!!!!!!!!!
Lea :D
