That is absolutely fantastic news, the breeder must be "over the moon" and I hope the thiefs get what they deserve :-)

Well the publicity obviously worked, but it does worry me that the man in the street witll think dogs are worth mega bucks!

I am often asked 'Oh they must be worth a lot'. I laugh and tell them my Dad says he would have to be paid to take them, but that they are like kids priceless and worthless depending on how they behave!!!!

You could be right but on the other hand, there would not have been this amount of publicity if there had not been a certain amount of emphasis on these puppies' value - it's a sad fact but the national press would not have been interested if someone's pet puppy had been stolen out of the owner's back garden whereas "valuable" puppies stolen from a top breeder (not forgetting the inevitable mention of "Crufts winners") got their attention. Whatever the rights & wrongs, thankfully the publicity campaign paid off & the pups are now back where they belong. If nothing else, this story has hopefully given all breeders a "wake-up" call & maybe we will all be looking more carefully at the security of our dogs from now on.

I should hope now that she should spend some of the money from the sale of the pups to add more security to her kennels. I must admit I think I would if I had such valuable dogs ! But as we say all our dogs are priceless and it doesn't matter how much money they are worth if they are lost or stolen !

Wonderful news :) she must be so relieved. Hopefully the publicity surrounding this and the early resolution and arrest will be a huge deterent to anyone one considering such a thing.
