You have had a lot of advice on this subject and I'm guessing you are a bit taken aback at some of the responses you have got.

If you had asked your question on any other forum you probably would have got more answers to your liking but this is 'Champdogs', the place where the very best breeders do the very best with and for their dogs. There is only one standard for breeding here and it is non-negotiable, everything must be done for the benefit of the breed and it must be done right. If you don't intend to breed to the same high standard that is up to you but don't expect many people here to agree with you.

I'm sure your dog is lovely, he doesn't have to be a Show Dog to be the best dog you have ever owned but he really does need to be a fairly successful Show Dog with excellent health test results to add something beneficial to the gene pool.

In response to questions,

I placed the ad yes as I was not aware of the forum at all before.
I also assumed (maybe naively as a novice) that I needed to create page first.
I then saw the forum part and joined to ask, to learn.

I have not once sent a nasty message to anyone and expected all to comply with this too.
You seemed to have overlooked my experience and successful puppy walking for professional services. I was not looked at as a phoney or did I receive flack.
I have also not looked up any of your dog's and then had a open season on nasty comments public ally for all to join in. Im surprised at the Miss Marple Spanish Inquisition.
You have not thought how these actions/private messages had an effect on my emotions or that I actually slept last night. No sleep just regurgitating all the comments and those messages.
Not pleasant or nice and I'd not wish that on anyone ever.
I do have the right to reply so I have addressed your queries.

Yes indeed you do.
I replied honestly, bluntly maybe, but with my experiences. You did ask.
For speed and ease I could have said.." Yeah easy as falling off a log..join in"

Top tips...don't expect dog people to be non-judgemental...they care about dogs.
Adding your young dog to the other 187 Cockers at stud on this site alone yep 187!..may seem like a good idea but it may end up not worth your time or money.
Just saying .....
