The saga continues... got up this morning and River was on the bed, so I thought I'd just do the daily check while she was there.  Looked at her face - swollen on that side, and no new grin.  Opened her mouth and the entire wound has popped open :-(  Not smelling too good either.

So we've been to the vets again!  Not too bad news though.  No more ops at this stage as the inside of the wound is looking more like normal gum skin and is granulating, so we're going to let it continue to heal on its own.  She's got more ABs for the infection which is what probably popped it - dissolving stitches 11 days after the op and swelling from infection is not a good combination!

The vet is really going the whole nine yards with this case too - he was on the phone to Idexx before I got there this morning to double check what parts of the tissue sent to them were sampled, and he's asked for a few more slices in different areas to be checked to be absolutely sure there isn't anything nasty.  Gold star for him today :-)
