Doesn't anyone use on of
these to prevent hair etc in the machines ?

These are a good idea and I hadn't considered buying one before. I know that debris in the pump can lead to the demise of many washing machines so I will invest in one of these. Thank you ;-)

Tommee - does the hair come off the dog items being washed and just accumulate in the bag or do the hairs still stick to the towels, bedding etc? Thank you.

I bought one from one of the horse firms and used it to wash vetbed, Yes the hair still sticks to the vetbed. I had shaken then hoovered it before putting it in the bag. Most disappointed with it
I have a horse one, hair still sticks but at least it is clean and pong free. I also have a pubber brush thing that is great for removing hair first. I try and hang the dog stuff on the line after washing which helps too. Honestly you get better results without using the bag but I have to declog the pump, and then declog a section of pipe too. And my kitchen ends up soaked.

I hoover beds first & use a rubber brush, I also put some velcro hook tapeballs in as well.
I have found the bags work a treat.Give the items a good shake first and off you go.

Any update on how the Cotton Mats are performing?
Bump. I'd like to know too !
Due to delays I have only recently purchased my mats even thought I started this thread yonks ago. I eventually went for Hug Rugs and I have to say that already a large amount of liquid mud has been absorbed into the mats. Whilst cleaning the hall the other day I found mud splatters 5ft up the door :(
Just ordered another 2.
