It would seem the dog is correctly registered with the Kennel club but the exhibitor is choosing to put the wrong date on their entry form so the dog can enter.

Very silly as it will be picked up by other exhibitors when they next enter a show with correct DOB (especially those in same class), and even if they argue it was done in error the dog would be disqualified, and if found to be deliberate they would be in trouble with the KC, and at very least risk a fine. If it was a Crufts qualifying award then it would be picked up when they tried to use the qualification on their Crufts entry form by the KC themselves as it's their show.

Confused is it the whole litter being reistered to kc early or just one pup / if its the original regisitration. Then show entry will match and no one would be able to prove it

It is not a litter registration at all but someone (breeder or owner - my guess owner) then faulsifying DOB of a dog for entry different to it's KC reg date. :-)

Otherwise it just wouldn't matter.........

But the new owner can't register the puppy only the breeder can do that. Perhaps you just mean that she entered the dog with an incorrect date. Love to know how you know.

Yes, any class winner can go on to win the CC. It's unlikely, because MPs are immature compared to the champions in Open, but possible.
