If the test was sent to Idexx it will be nmol/L, and yes the guide I posted is what you'd go by. If it was Idexx, Larry Roberts will telephone you with the results and give you a guide as to whether further tests are required and/or what days to mate.

I was guided by Larry and I found him a great help. My bitch is now in whelp.

I think they like to hit 10. If shes 8.2 yesterday, knowing how quick they go up I wouldnt be waiting for Friday unless you get the result back the same day. I reckon she will be bang on ovulating maybe today so I would mating very soon. Two days after ovulation is the spot on time, so Friday would be mating time for me, possibly even tomorrow.

I too think you're looking at a Friday/Saturday mating - so be prepared....

Ok Thanks , thats a great help .......... My plan is drive to derby for repeat test 8.30  friday morning , get the results at 3pm the same day and then off to meet with the stud for a mating again on the same day .

Also with a view mate on the saturday and sunday , but that would be 3 days on the trot , is that ok to do ?

Or is it best to leave it on the Saturday and just go for the friday / sunday.....
Only asking as last time we mated her she went off the boil pretty quick, she was mated on the Saturday and  again on the Monday but was no where near as keen .

Sorry forgot to say the bloods are sent away to a lab forgot which one ( not idexx ) then the results come back to the vet who i phone and he just gives me the figure .

All depends on the results I suppose but you could mate 3 days in a row if convenient to all.
