Huge congratulations to you all.......
:) :) :)
> Fosse has got back to me saying their records show it was the dog who took BOB so they won't change it! I am fuming -if it doesn't get changed the results in the dog papers will be wrong as well! I've just scanned the BOB card and e-mailed it to them
Its changed now Marianne! :-D

We got a 3rd place with our Rottie bitch...we were over the moon at getting placed with our girl and had huge smiles on our faces to see the Rottie won the Working Group!
Well done to everyone who got placed and to everyone who qualified and showed their dogs.

MEGA Congratulations Marrianne, John & Ripley
Fantastic result Whoop Whoop :D

My boy won his class and then went RBoS, his first time showing at Crufts and we had a fab day....We have been doing Discover Dogs today and had just as much fun, we will be there again tomorrow :)
Congratulations to all who got/get placed

I can't manage to get back to page 1 one of this now and look through it carefully, so I'll have to say a collective CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who's had nice placings so far! :)
congradulations to all who won or had good results at Crufts.

Thanks to everyone. Not sure that I enjoyed watching us on YouTube though!!

I was pleased with my baby Inka who became a champion at 14 months last year, so now has to go in Open and look very inexperienced among the mature ladies.
So far the highest we have got in Open at CC level was 4th, so very pleased with 2nd in Open bitch at Crufts.

Well done EVERYONE!
Seems some good results for you all :)

My boy won his class, but as he was the only entrant it would have been awful if it had been witheld! :) What I was most pleased about was that his Schutzhund qualification was actually included; this is a first for the Crufts catalogue.

Congratulations to everyone so far! :-D
Anybody know the best way to get Fosse Data to change an incorrect result? I have emailed them because they have down the wrong result for 3rd in Limit dog for my breed. The dog they have down didn't actually get placed, and 3rd went to my boy, who isn't even listed in the results. Very annoying! They so far have not emailed me back, and I understand if they have taken these results off the strips the steward has filled in, they might not change it just because I have told them it's wrong. But it is and I would like it changed thank you very much lol. If it is down to the steward filling in the wrong number, and idea how I could get it altered?

we got 3rd in special junior dog with timo,he wagged his tail on the table and all the way round the ring, there was a collective aaaaawwww from the overseas contingent watching! lol

I know Marianne got BOB and it showed the dog getting it not Mariannes Bitch Ripley., They wouldnt change it but I believe she sent a scan of her card to fosse data and they changed it then withing a few hours.

Thanks Lea, I saw that but of course BOB card would have had the dogs name on to prove it and the judges signature. I don't think they would have accepted a just a placement card as proof. But it's all sorted now and has been changed. I left them a message on their facebook page and they changed it after that. They must spend more time on Facebook than they do reading their emails :)

Well done everyone
I was really pleased with my youngest girl even though she didnt place, she was shortlisted in a big PG class although she wasnt in her best coat. I was more pleased with the fact that she actually behaved herself in the ring, all four feet on the floor for 99% of the time is a big improvement as she isnt so keen on indoor shows.
My other girl won limit & GC bitch, which I was over the moon with as I was far from expecting it with what we were up against. This morning she slipped off the pavement and is hobbling round the house with a rather pathetic look on her face, bless her. Not in the ring for another month so plenty of time to rest up.

Really pleased with my boy too. He's not been shown since Crufts 2008. He loved his day and won a 3rd place. His litter sister also won 3rd in her class :-)

Had a great weekend. Made up Hope, my Selkirk Rex, to a Grand Champion yesterday at Lancs Cat Club champ show and my import Larissa won her first CC. Then today at Crufts, a bitch I bred won the CC (Her 7th) but not BOB. And the DCC winner, who was BOB, I helped chose as a pup from photos of the litter at 6 weeks old!

Woooooooohoooooooooooooo Very Well Done Marianne, I'm so thrilled for you, John and Ripley. How wonderful to win her 3rd CC from such a quality entry at Crufts and to go BOB. Couldn't be more thrilled for the gorgeous girl :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Was pleased with my boy winning his limit class and our young bitch getting 3rd in limit. Didnt take the bitch puppy has she came into season few days before.
Tracy

Great results everyone! Congratulations to you all :-)
My little girl won a big PGB class today! Not as good as last year when she took BOB whilst still a puppy, but she kindly decided to drop all her coat at the start of February so we weren't even expecting a place!

If I remember correctly, Christine's knowledge of her breed (Large Munsterlanders) was questioned last week ........these results prove that the lady knows her stuff!!!!
Well done Christine! :o) :o) :o)

Congrats everyone..

Beaming proud mum brag - my daughter took part in her first YKC Handling class. Was over the moon when she took the final cut of 6 - then came 2nd :) :)
She did so well and kept her cool right til the end - put on a great performance and Connor was just a star for her (he is a special boy and pulls out all the stops for her!)
The BBC came in and he didn't bat an eye at a camera in his face - and if we squinted we did see her on More4 just about :)
Well done to everyone what a show! :-)

well done to the the owners, breeders, jh,handlers

give them a big kiss and cuddle a big free run today the pressure off.

My girl won her class yesterday too. Again, only one of us showed up! :) But as a friend of mine reminded me, it was what she had to do to qualify for that class that mattered
(in this case although she has a stud book number it was that she had gained a working gundog certificate)!

World Cup Obedience
WELSH Team 2nd
Flynn & I were joint Leaders with two others after Scent & Stays & the round Work, Sadley we did not win the run off cos he hit the jump, But still Indiv 2nd & teanm 2nd! Yeah!

Well done everyone in all the events at Crufts.
I took four dogs and got a second in Post Graduate with my boy. I withdrew my puppy as she wouldn't carry her tail and the other two girls kept the majority company coming out the ring with no placings.
We had a great time though.

We had no luck, but the judge only gave the dog who is one CC short of the breed record a 5th in his class, so clearly she had gone doo-lally! What really annoyed me was that my friend had come from America to handle him so we had him in 2 classes, in the second class she only moved 2 of the 8 repeat entries before placing, it's so rude when the judge doesn't give all dogs an equal look before deciding. :-( But we had fun anyway, and went back on Sunday to watch BIS, so that was nice. Well done to all who had success!

We had a fab time, Our boy got 2nd in Yearling Dog, his sister got 3rd in Yearing Bitch and his other sister got 1st in Post Grad Bitch and the BRCC........needless to say their breeder was on cloud 9!! :-)
Paula
"clearly she had gone doo-lally"Its the judge on the day, you can't expect that a dog will be placed just because other judges thought it worthy. In our breed the new breed record holder with 43 or 44 cc's went unplaced in the open bitch class. Different judge different day different result.
Haven't had internet access since Crufts, but must just add that my homebred boy took 2nd in special junior dog (out of a class of 13). Couldn't believe it when I was pulled out

Not when the dogs in higher places were not remotely sound. And not when that judge apparently went into the bitch ring after a toilet break and started judging the wrong sex! And then in a later class decided she had seen 6 unseen dogs and in spite of the steward's efforts, refused to judge them!! Or so I have been told.

Who was this judge?

I don't think that would be wise to say on an open forum!!
