> I lived off tripe during my first pregnancy

ugh!! poppity thats horrid! i will try pretty much anything food wise but i draw the line at body parts designed to extract waste
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 17.06.09 13:28 UTC
I thought that tripe is the stomach lining which is designed to extract nutrients, not waste.
- By Astarte Date 17.06.09 13:30 UTC
i thought it was also part bowel? could well be wrong.

neither sounds tasty though :)
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 17.06.09 13:32 UTC
Even the bowel extracts nutrients; it leaves the waste behind!

Oh, it's vile, no disagreement there (and yes, I've tried it. Never again. I'll get a note from my mother if necessary!).

poppity! i mentioned my sisters pregnancy craving for flying saucers and she started on about the foul yucky tripe! GAK! nasty stuff.

poppity your poor baby having to share an abdomen with that stuff! ;)

It was exceedingly yummy at the time.Mind you,as soon as Sarah popped out i didn't touch the stuff again.I'm mainly veggie now, with fish on the menu maybe once a week.Just to continue the pregnancy theme for a minute, when I was expecting Sarah,I went off tea and coffee, big time.I seriously couldn,t go to the furniture department of a big store in town because the tables reminded me of sitting down for a cuppa, and that set my tum off.

Sour Apples, Rhubarb & Custards, Mojos, Refreshers & Black Jacks.  Poundland sell Mojos in a big bag but they're not the same as I remember them.

Floral gums and cherry lips.
- By munkeemojo Date 19.06.09 16:49 UTC
mine were flying saucers, those chocolate cup things, wham bars and pretzel flips (i wrote to nestle virtually begging them to bring them back, but they said they wouldn't :( ). And cola cubes - i still love them! There's a fab shop in Whitby that sells the oldies, like those cherry lips that taste like soap (they're another one) - i spend the best part of a tenner everytime i go in, although in my defence, it isn't very often! And i've spnt a bit on a querter of, too.

Mmmmm,I love Dime bars too,and peanut brittle.:)
