That red dress is just fantastic, you are going to look just stunning with ivory shrug and the boots we areally have to see the phots! Please a treat for the new year.
I understand that it is flowers that are red and white that are unlucky and indicate blood and bandages. Nothing else, red and white clothes are a nice combination.

Karen :)

that dress is gorgeous and I'm sure you'll look beautiful in it. According to the site that JG linked, Green should never appear at a scottish wedding - unlucky due to fairies and stuff apparently - well I had green in my headdress at my wedding(in Scotland) nearly 25 years ago and we are still together :-D Come to think of it , maybe that was the unucky bit :-D

Yes, please - that would be great!

I've also bought all the stuff to make my own stationery (I saw your post the other day, by the way, and thought your save the date cards were gorgeous).  Just got to get round to doing it, now.  There's quite a bit of work involved in that, but the costs of buying bespoke stationery are so huge that it's a good way to save some money.

My daughter-in-law had a wedding invitation party. A group of her friends and myself all got together for the evening and we made the invites. She had made one to show us the finished article and we had a great evening :-) We had drinks and food before we started and by the end of the evening all but ten invitations had been made :-)

Harley - that's a great idea.  I'll have to sort out one of these parties (but must make sure no one drinks too much!)
