I would expect that if you bred your girl again using the herpes vaccine you would get a healthy and viable litter, don't rush in to anything with mum

On the plus side well done on taking the measures you did to save the one you have, you would of most  likely of lost her too if the vets had been consulted , as someone already said not many vets have experience of rearing litters .

Good for you - we had a litter of puppies last June and lost 2 of them , If i'd have known about the woman who helped you I would have done exactly the same, my vet was no help whatsoever. Keep up the good work and lots of hugs to little Darcy. xx xx
