Well I'll still be taking my oversized boy as I think that for the breed we should.  I know that I won't get anywhere and I don't have the money but I think it's important.

Oh you know me, all hot air!  'course I'll be there, wouldn't miss a party ;-)

Actually I really want to qualify goldfish brain now, just so he can go into Open Dog & the good citz class :-D

Do you have to enter another class in order to enter the good citz?

You can just enter good Cit am sure people have just done this in our breed Caroline.

When you have more than one dog the champ shows are a tad expensive though aren't they!

Just entered online cost £20 (19 + 1 admin) for both PG & GC? Is that right a bargain!

I wish I was paying £20 per entry!!! for a champ show. We pay a bit more over here, almost double that and have further to travel to shows.

So yes, I think that's  deffinatley a bargain. :)

Yeah Breehant but in Europe you get something nice when you win, here you just get a piece of card and if you are extremely lucky a dust collector, whoops, I meant to say a rosette! :d

I judged in Spain last year and you should of seen the prizes for just winning 1st and 2nd in the class and it was only a cac show, you wouldn't even get the prize for getting BOB or BIS here in the UK!

Dust collector LOL:)

True, but if you are entering multiple dogs you could have just paid for the prize yourself :)

When I was writing out my LKA entry it was a breath of fresh air paying the £24 instead of the prices we pay over here!! Can't speak for Crufts yet has I have to wait on the LKA result.
I have to say that I have never won any prizes at any of the shows and my male has won most of his classess, apart from a plaque he won at Dortmund for ResBD. I'm looking forward to getting some rosettes again when we come back as I feel cheated for not getting anything in my hand!

I think a lot of it goes to JH, which I don't really mind TBH as it encourages them and keeps them going I suppose. They always come away laden down with goodies.lol :)
I am the same as you a few trophies and rosettes nothing really to write home about. But that is not really what we go for at the end of the day lol, just a bonus if we do come home with something. :) When you off back to blighty Jenny?
