I have a working cocker with springer colouration! (liver and white) so perhaps suggest that. Everyone thinks hes a springer, only hes small like a cocker and has cocker personality :-)

We bought a 3 yr old show ESS 2 yrs ago. He was trained to show but had gone as far as he could in the show ring. We had never had this breed before and to be honest we did not know a lot about the different sorts but we never looked back. We are pensioners and wanted a companion a little less hard work than the GSDs we were accustomed to. We referred to the KC Acredited Puppy list and although the breeder we chose to ring did not have any pups at the time, knew of a breeder with an older dog who was ready to part with a dog in a few months time. We followed this up and have ended up with a little love. Already trained and socialised to a high standard he has turned out to be a dream. He is always on the go and follows me around the house all day long. Yes he needs his exercise like any other dog but once done he is calm and no trouble atall.
