Also many developed from existing types that had existed for centuries, and were refined regionally or based on a use that they excelled in.

Exactly -like the 4 Belgian Shepherds. :) :)

No it isn't that one, but from what I understand the two have been associated in the past. (You are known by the company you keep!!)

The woman I was referring to was convicted in October 2005 (?) after admitting causing unnecessary suffering to two lizards at the pet shop she ran with her husband. They pleaded guilty to two charges of unnecessary suffering to a sand agama and a leopard gecko. They kept the reptiles at the pet shop which they ran.  The court also heard that the woman had received a five-year ban in the late 1980s for causing unnecessary suffering to a dog.

my friend has 2 northern inuits, one a male from puppy , a very friendly, beautiful dog that cannot be trusted off lead because he just does what he whats, and they really are trying to train him. the other a resue bitch with fear issues due to her last home, both dogs very healthy and mainly look like large huskies.

Hi
Hope you got my pm. At least if your friend considers talking to the person I mentioned she will be dealing with a real breeder and not a breeder back yard. This person has many years experience of breeding fantastic gsd as well .  I have met these  particular NI and they are lovely friendly dogs who seem fine with people and kids. Maybe if she talks to someone responsible she may reconsider if she gets all the facts and feels there are better breeds that still look georgeous but are better for a novice.

I read that in Dog world as well and noticed she moved to Wales.Hope there isn't a loophole as I read in this weeks Dog world about a breeder in Scotland that was banned from keeping dogs, but moved to England as the ruling doesn't apply there!

I did get your PM thanks for that :)

I have told her all I can about the breed and she will have to make her own decision!
Shame as I thought she was a level headed person but seems to be completely blind to the fact the breed need an expieranced hand, ruddy people!! lol
