I had my jaw fractured by a dog wearing a Baskerville type muzzle(it was a Springer) so I know first hand how much damage can be done even if the dog can't actually bite.I think you are this dog's last chance of a loving home and I wish you well with her but PLEASE don't ever let her off her lead even when you think there are no dogs around,its just not worth it.

This place has extra wide muzzles :) They are light weight, soft plastic instead of the metal cage sort, I've never used this sort, I've no idea how good they are? There are loads of on-line shops that have big ranges of muzzles.
