Hello everyone. Week ago my bitch has c section. I have been told there was 7 puppies. Only alive 4. We back home. After 3 days she became so nervous running try to find space. She starts contraction and  I saw from her vagina coming something. I thought her uterus in the begging and that was legs... She pass  death puppy.  Next day I went to vet. They apologise. I said I'm not happy with them service and would like the money back for c section and this puppy which they left inside. Vet said they going write report and them insurance will cover it.
My question is shall I report them ? I really don't know what to do. I'm really angry and sad in one moment. My dog could not be with us now. They put her in huge risk.
I understand everything can happen. But how you can not check before? She is English bullterrier. They been not small to miss this puppy in.

Terrible  Especially as so many vets just take the dog off you in such situations, and then bring it back already sewn up etc. So there is nothing you can do but trust they use their eyes and brains?

I think it might be worth contacting the overseeing body: https://www.rcvs.org.uk/concerns/

I would also spread the word to your friends, I wish there was a better way to make this known publicly with evidence etc, but its up to RCVS and I don't think they keep a list of individual vets' mishaps.
